Meet Marc Jardine, Owner of Tethered Earthworks
Hello, I am Marc Jardine the Owner of Tethered Earthworks, your local Comox Valley excavation company. I have 25 years of excavation experience, mostly in the field of civil construction. I service all of Vancouver Island, and I'm based out of Courtenay. I operate solo, currently having no employees, keeping my quality of work at the highest of standards.
I have been in the Civil Construction Excavation industry over 25 years. 12 years in Water & Sewer, mixed with general residential and commercial excavating. 4 years Trans Canada Highway Construction, building our countries most challenging highway bridges. 9 years in Heavy Civil Oil and Gas facility construction and Mining. I have been reading plans and building to spec for decades.
I specialize in technical and & hard / very challenging projects. Over the years, I've attained trust of the most meticulous Geo-Tech Engineers, and am personally requested by high end building contractors in Whistler, when they reached out to my employer at the time. I have a glowing resume of many high profile accomplishments.
As an owner operator with 25 years of civil excavation experience. I have a high attention to detail, and excellent finishing skills. I am well rounded in general construction, insured, reliable and have a great eye for grading and finding solutions.
My scope of skill and experience is very broad. If you hire me, I will not be showing up to cut corners. I look at projects from a different angle that set my projects up to perform very well in regard to groundwater management, structural performance and health improvements, while achieving the best aesthetic looking finish possible. I will always put my best foot forward and have my customer's best interests in mind. The aim to achieve a higher standard of excellence than most other contractors. I often correct past contractors, mistakes, short cuts, mal-practice and clean up and correct
what they neglected to achieve. I am well versed and knowledgeable of todays best modern building practices, and work best with those who take pride in their craft.
